New screen fix
I have truly figured out how to get my screen working....my screen will (or will not) work based on the position of the "sound recorder" section sliders. As long as it boots ok, my screen will work as long as its on, a few pixels may flicker, but the sliders will correct it when it's on. I...

Re: Juno-G screen
Ok, please try this...I know I already tried one theory here with the heat/warm up deal. But this one is based more on my observations - similar to the data wheel theory. Today the screen was doing the "half lit" thing. What I notice when my LCD is working properly is that moving sliders (...

Re: Temporary LCD screen fix
Hey, Sorry I took so long - I gave up on anyone trying it. To answer your question - it fixed it!! OR I should say, I started doing it religiously. Then I just started turning it on regularly. Its been weeks since I had a problem. What I expect, if my theory is correct - is that once it gets cold ag...

Temporary LCD screen fix
Hi, I have tried to post this on the back end of some other threads - but incase people are not seeing this, it works for me. My screen will often be 1/2 to 3/4 dead. 1. Turn on the juno g....leave it on even with the screen missing. 2. After 5 - 10 minutes turn it off then back on. You may need mor...

Re: Juno-G screen
Will someone please try my suggestion:
Turn it on and leave it on (even if the screen is messed up).
After 10-15 minutes, turn it off then back on. It fixes my screen, temporarily.

Re: Juno-G screen
I have had good experience with this trick. It probably isnt a fix for people relying on the juno g for live, on the spot set-up. But could save you in a jam. Too simple....let it warm up. I turn mine on, the screen is 1/2 or 3/4 dead. I leave it on for 10-15 mins, and i notice that when i turn off ...

Juno G as master brain
I have read through here and due to "master" being so common i find more about mastering tracks than my queery. Anyhow I am looking for experienced user opinion, not what manual says is possible. I have a Juno G, MPC2000, Prophet 08, Jupiter 6, juno 106, some yamaha FM stuff, and some old ...

Re: Patch Creation on Juno G
<t>Thanks racoon,<br/> If you care to elaborate, I would appreciate it. (about the hidden arppegiation that is) But if not, then thats ok too. Seems interesting to me to know the specifics. Or if you know this has been discussed ad nauseum say so and I will search the forum (I already searched but t...

Patch Creation on Juno G
<t>Hi, this is probably directed at Artimy, but anyone who wants to chime in feel free.<br/> <br/> So the Juno G comes with factory patches and performances. Were all of those created by hand on a juno-g consumer product? <br/> <br/> Some of them seem very complex, almost impossible to re-create. Pa...

Re: Version 2.0 Official Release
<t>Dan, <br/> Just responding to the tutorial part of your post. <br/> Thanks, that was good. How much of that could the Juno do prior to the update? <br/> I don't spend as much time with my juno as I would like. I use it as a sound source and drum machine for scratch ideas.<br/> That tutorial made ...

Re: Uncertainty
<t>What racoon is trying to say is yes. - and that he doesnt believe you have actualy read the manual. My guess only.<br/> I dont know the limit, but I have seen I think 4. Bass on lower octave, piano on middle three octaves, synthy sound higher octave. You could probably do up to 16 since that's ho...

Re: Juno G performance / patch architecture
<t>When recording a sequence in performance mode, is there a way to prevent the sequencer from erasing other parts if you should need to use "Replace" recording. <br/> <br/> eg. I had a drum part and a bass part recorded. While adding a 3rd part, I kept messing up. But if I used Replace mode for ove...
