XV-5080 waves out of tune?

<t>Hi everyone, <br/> <br/> Just discovered a bizarre problem with my XV5080 - in some of the preset patches it plays back some of the waveforms out of tune - all up 1 semitone. It's mostly synth leads, but there are others as well, including waves on my two expansion cards (SR-04 and SR-06). The mo...

Re: Roland JV-1010 vs-SC-55 vs.

<t>The 1010 has a much wider range of sounds, and although I haven't heard the SC-55, I'm certain they'll be much higher quality. If I remember correctly you can put one SR expansion card in as well, if you need a few more sounds. The big disadvantage of the 1010 is the lack of a screen, but as I do...

Re: A brand new roland AX7 in 2009 ??

I was on the internet today, and I found this

I am now so happy it is indescribable. Although having the sound generator on board is not the smartest thing ever (need another long cable), and wireless midi would be nice, but this is all overshadowed by the fact that it's a new keytar.

Re: jv 2080 user banks?

"I suppose I should read the manual:)"

It's understandable why you wouldn't - you need a degree in electronic engineering before a lot of it makes sense...

Re: A brand new roland AX7 in 2009 ??

I've not heard anything, sadly. I don't really know why they stopped production - it's not like there wasn't a market for them...

Oh well - the challenge now is build your own!

Re: Performances using SR patches on XV-3080

Thanks for the response!

It's good to know that it is possible. I don't know what OS version I am at the moment (my gear is elsewhere) - any ideas how to update?

Performances using SR patches on XV-3080

<t>Firstly, Hello Roland Clan!<br/> <br/> Secondly:<br/> <br/> I've been trying to make performances on my XV-3080 using multiple patches from an SR expansion board (04 Vintage), but I can only use one patch in any performance. The patch bank select only allows "XPA" or "XPB" to appear once. I'm sli...
