Re: Jupiter-80 videos

That must have been one of the crappiest demos i ever saw! Seems that the JP-80 is the perfect tool to create s...

Re: Another video by Music Radar
from the demos that i saw at FRankfurt by Scott Tibbs i agree that the supernatural stuff is quite stunning in realism and expressivness. The dude in the 2nd half of the clip however makes it sound like a bad joke IMHO. Applying massive amounts of pitchbend to an accordeon and using that as the 2nd ...

Re: Musikmesse demo by Jimmy Kresic
my comment wasnt about his looks or his other demos.
i doubt that Sonic State was shooting the video during his first encounter with the SH-01 although i agree that one could get that impression after looking at this rather pisspoorperformance.......

Re: Musikmesse demo by Jimmy Kresic
<t>Surely he didnt spend too much time with the SH-01 as some of what he says is simply BS-like "using the external input as an oscillator waveform that you can thru the filte for remixing" (BTW what the f**** is a fastpass filter?)-Looks like he never even tried that because the external input seem...

Re: Musikmesse demo by Jimmy Kresic
Tthat was probably the lamest demo i ever saw in my life.
Jump and Final Countdown!
Whats next?
Smoke on the water?
Plus the fact that i could hardly understand anything he said.
Epic fail and probably doesnt do the synth any justice!

Re: roland vc2 card is back
you need to end a MIDI triggernote to the XT so it can process the incoming sound thru the synthsection.
If you have a keyboard connected you could simply play a key and hold tzhe sustainpedal or send a very long note from your sequencer.

Re: Metallic Sound?
i played the V-piano at the Frankfurt fair . The basic sound is warm and natural. Only when you switch to triple silver strings the sound gets bright and shiny.

Re: The SAXiest expansion of the world
the benchmark for brassemulation is the stuff from Samplemodelling.
They have two plugins called The Trumpet and Mr.SaxT and nothin g else comes even close in terms of playability and realism.
