Re: Finally the Convertor is released!
<t>"Allows conversion of Akai S-1000/S-3000 programs and samples, and Roland S-7x patches, into Roland Fantom format, and enables archiving of your favorite Fantom setups on your computer."<br/> <br/> Is there something I missed? Was this always the intention? It seems fairly ridiculous to limit Aka...

Exactly. It's only letting YOU write one user multi-sample. Nobody else is having the same problem.

<t>Sorry chick, but I'm sure you *can* help it - sadly, you seem to enjoy complaining too much. If it's so crap, then hurry up and sell your damn XR and stop posting unneccesary rubbish. <br/> <br/> I for one LOVE my Fantom XR...instead of complaining about what it CAN'T do, I (a) READ THE MANUAL CA...

Re: My Translator Questions
<t>Don't worry, I understand where you're coming from. It annoys me too - not so much here (except for one person who shall remain nameless =P), but particularly on other forums. <br/> <br/> And yes, it is VERY exciting news. Partcularly when it comes to recreating vintage synths. I just hope we act...

Re: My Translator Questions
<t>"5) You are under 20 years old (I don't have time to deal with children)."<br/> <br/> Unless your tongue was planted firmly in cheek, I find this comment incredibly patronising, not to mention downright rude. I'm 19, and I'm certainly no "child". And being "under 20" doesn't automatically make me...

Re: Annoying little problem with an RD-170
Unfortunately no, it happens at a constant point on the slider, on any sound. I've cleaned it, but no difference unfortunately. It's brand new, I'm considering taking it back. My guess is it's just a production fault.

Annoying little problem with an RD-170
<t>I'm wondering if anyone here can help me with a problem I'm having with my RD-170. <br/> <br/> I'm using it as a controller for my XR, and on my usual setup, and I have the volume send level set to 127, and the upper part volume slider set to maximum. When I hold down a sustained note, and move t...

Best controller for the Fantom-XR?
<t>Hi there! I've recently purchased a brand new Fantom-XR, and I'm now looking for a decent controller. Could anyone here give me some advice on what controller they think will allow me to get the most out of my Fantom? At the moment I'm leaning towards the Roland A37, but I'm *very* open minded at...
