Re: 1GB RAM Available At OEMPCWorld
Sorry, disregard my previous post. Didn't mean to offend anyone. I'm not a brand loyalist, far from it. I tend to applaud companies that do timely bug-fixes, free library updates, offer AFFORDABLE expansion cards, etc. My bad.

Re: 1GB RAM Available At OEMPCWorld
<t>Maybe I missed something? What are we celebrating, exactly? Must be my 'newbie' status. At least two of us, maybe more, confirmed at least a month ago that the 1 Gb memory module from memoryx.com worked perfectly well with the Fantom G. Furthermore, it's @ $18.00 cheaper than the one being pushed...

Re: midi files play differently
Thanks Keysme, I aware of the template and reset but it (G7) actually plays wrong notes (easy to hear in the melody line) that play perfectly on the SonicCell and everything else. Weird. Probably something I'm doing but it sure feels like a 'bug' to me. I'll keep testing it.

midi files play differently
<t>I have some midi files that play differently on my Fantom G7 than they do on my SonicCell, for instance. Notes are transposed, wrong instruments are selected in GM2 (Studio mode), samples are sometimes selected instead of a GM voice. These are genuine SMF's that play fine on any number of other S...

Re: Fantom G dimm memory
Same with me (memoryx.com). Works fine in my G7.

PS: I'm a newbie on the forum, not yet up to speed on the G7 as i'm primarily an organ player (Nord C1) in a jazz organ trio.
