"it will fail because it will not make sense to buy it at the current price."
But...eh...Most of us bought it at the current price!
Hehe... Sorry, I couldn't help it. I just had to.

Re: deleted threads?
<t>The problem with written messages is that it's hard to know if the message is ironic or sarcastic in some way, especially when people use signs like the ones you used in you post, Jim (colons, brackets, etc). One can easily assume that everyone who reads it will understand the irony, but very oft...

Re: sharp protest gainst closing the update thread
<t>As far as I can see, the thread is locked and thereby always visible near the top of the page, still to be read by everyone. Calm down, Jim. <br/> <br/> Saying things like "an obvious effort to guard Roland against uttering our legitimate user interests" and "a prolonged arm of Roland" only makes...

Re: ***ROLAND FANTOM G OS UPDATE OVERDUE***
<t>It's hard to comment on something that has been said soooo many times SMF export? Sure, that would be nice, but I think it was mentioned months ago. Cute enough for you?<br/> <br/> "just skip the part of the discussion you were not involved in" <br/> <br/> What?! Not involved in? So this isn't fo...

Re: ***ROLAND FANTOM G OS UPDATE OVERDUE***
<t>Congrats, Jim!<br/> <br/> You've really brought this forum to the next level by posting that! Unfortunately, it was the wrong direction... Not in my wildest dreams could I have imagined someone mentioning those guys (the dictators) in a forum for musical instruments. Well done. Well done, indeed....

Re: Fantom G bashing
<t>Good point, SoulLife.<br/> <br/> I'm not saying that the guys at Roland aren't late with the update, but I think that this forum is flooded with messages about it. We get your message. We (the rest of us) are not the ones who needs to hear it. If all these messages had been converted to e-mails t...

<t>Jesse,<br/> <br/> Ypu don't have to agree with me, but don't post and say that I glorify "shitty" customer support. Tell me where I said that and I will gladly go down on my knees and beg for forgiveness...<br/> <br/> We (the company I work for) wouldn't be around if there were bugs that caused h...

<t>"So basically there either really stupid or they released it knowing about every single bug and didnt give two shits. Re: Is it possible for Roland to say something without sayin
The number of wishes will not be less if you keep it in one place, will it? I agree that it would be a great idea but Roland will not be able to satisfy everyone because of that. There are simply too many, that's the point I'm trying to make.

Nope, nothing I've recorded so far has lasted more than 10 seconds...
I'm still enjoying every moment in single mode and have only tried Studio mode a couple of times. I don't miss anything yet, but hey, give me some time! lol

Re: Is it possible for Roland to say something without sayin
<t>I'm beginning to understand why there are TEN pages of the "Complaints" thread...<br/> <br/> Don't misunderstand me. If anyone from Roland Japan (who seems to be the only ones who decide, according to Mr Krisher) would read the Wishlist (for example), it would take them far more than four months ...

Re: Is it possible for Roland to say something without sayin
<t>No, I'm afraid I don't. Ask twenty people in here what they consider is the most important thing missing on this synth, and you will most probably get at least ten different answers. We have different definitions of the word "right". In the case of our company, "right" means that nothing must mal...

Re: Is it possible for Roland to say something without sayin
<t>Thanks for links to threads and so on. I haven't had the synth long enough to miss anything, apart from really good brass sounds. I think every synth misses something. I still think that it is "unfair" to say that an update is long overdue. There are no rules for that. Of course, when you really ...

Re: Is it possible for Roland to say something without sayin
OK. Are these features so basic that you didn't check before you bought it?
No, I didn't have the X. I had a Motif, first version. Can you name any of those basic features so that I know what I should miss?
