Re: jv sounds
Hi
These files are in scl (SonicCell Library) format.
You will need the SonicCell Library program from Roland
https://www.rolandcorp.com.au/products/ ... downloads/
Start the program. Go to Setup / Setup MIDI Devices.. and select the SonicCell Midi in and out
On the Main window change the Mode to Patch.
Load the SCL file and a new window will open. Note that there can be more patches than the Sonic Cell can hold in its User area.
The Main window is exactly the same size as the SonicCell and that is why you can only send patches from this window to the SonicCell.
So you copy the sounds into the Main window and then you can send 1 or many or all the patches to the SonicCell by hi-lighting the patches you want to send and press the WRITE button.
If you just want to hear the patch double click in the Main or the window with the file you just loaded and the patch is sent to the edit buffer in the SonicCell and is played. You can stop the preview playing with the buttons on the left of the window.
All the best
Royce
