In its current form the AUM selection for instruments & FX isn't that useful for those of us with a lot of AUM plugins. I have a ton of plugins probably 100 or more. Arranging them by developer can be useful to a limited degree but I have 40+ developers listed.. For my go to plugins from companies like SugarBytes it's a helpful but that weird experimental plugin that is neat but from some obscure developer, not useful at all..
I'd like to recommend allowing users to tag their plugins and let me sort by those categories. That way I can create groups that make more sense to me and my workflow, like "Classic Synths", "Experimental", "Managlers & Glitchy", "House Music", "Mono Leads & Basses" etc.. I should be able to assign plugins to multiple tags, sometimes synths & FX fit into multiple categories at once
AUM plugin selection needs improvement for owners of lots of plugins
