I assume the JX-8P Model Expansion comes with sounds... I'm curious to know...
...if it includes all the original JX-8P factory patches
...if the patch list for the Roland Cloud model expansion and the Fantom-0 model expansion are identical
...and similarly, whether the patch list is the same as or different from the JX-08 Boutique module
Related, is there a downloadable patch list somewhere?
JX-8P Model Expansion sound list
Re: JX-8P Model Expansion sound list
If you take a look on the sound list of the Jupiter-x you can find the Patch list of the JX-8P Model Expansion.

Re: JX-8P Model Expansion sound list
Zenology PRO and the Fantom expansion are exactly the same for Model Expansion, the proportion of factory preset sounds in the sound list is not the full voices set, just a few assorted Patches. I thought if I already had a JX8p Model Expansion, it would be good to have a full factory Patch set, so I made the missing sounds myself. For this I had an excellent VST, the PG-8X. It can be loaded into all 64 factory Patch SysEx files. I've reprogrammed all of these settings for the Fantom JX8p Model Expansion, so I have all 64 tones. I have to say that there are some differences that I also had to correct from the already existing factory sounds. I think any sound that uses JX Chorus 1-2 adds too much Chorus and is very different from the original, but the Juno 1-2 Chorus effect has become exactly like the original. I test the sounds side by side, and the PG-8X VST is one of the most authentic emulations. My other comment was that the bells-like sounds with the X-Mod settings sound different from the original, but with a smaller setting you can do similar ones. There are small differences between the Sync and X-Mod sections as there is a Sync mode and the PG-8X also has a Sync 2 Mod. All other sounds are exactly the same if they are set correctly. Anyway, there are 32 Patches in the Model Expansion, so 32 more were missing, such as the Music Box and Sync Lead sound. I tried to add these, I am satisfied with the end result. Based on how much we get the typical sound of the JX8p, I have to say that Roland did a very good job. In my opinion, the most successful Model Expansion was the Jupiter 8. There are also 64 factory Patches out there, and only part of it is included in the Model Expansion kit. I also programmed these missing sounds. Since I don't have either Jupiter 8 or JX8p, I was able to compare it to VST. The Arturia Jupiter 8 includes all the factory Patches, so the JX8p, Jupiter 8, and Juno 106 full factory Patches have been programmed for me. Each Model Expansion selected the best Preset sounds, but not the full set. If you are interested in all factory presets, here is the link: JX8P https://drive.google.com/file/d/1L7Qf3- ... sp=sharing
