JU-06a Arpeggiator accent trigger?

When using a TR606's accent to trigger the original Juno 6's arp, it was magical being able to transpose an arped bass line etc.

The JU-06a just will not do it (although the sequencer part will, but its not the same).

Did Roland sort this in any update? It seems absolutely ridiculous they left it out.
