I'm having trouble with my new JDXI,
I have a synth connected to the "input(mono)" jack but nothing I do will allow the sound to come through the headphone output on the JDXI:
I tried different kinds of cables.
I tried toggling the line/guitar switch.
I tried raising the input gain and turning off the noise suppressor.
I tried adjusting all the parameters like programs, master volume, filter, amp, effects, etc.
And I already made sure the external source is in-fact transmitting sound.
Nothing will let the sound pass thorough, what am I doing wrong?
thank you!
No sound from external audio via input jack???

Hi you have to set vocoder/auto pitch and choose patch 277 voice in . Like using the vocoder, you loose a digital channel and analog channel which is a Shame

Re: No sound from external audio via input jack???
That did it! Thank you!!
Oh man, that is a bummer though...
I really wish it just had an "aux" input instead of forcing the synth to DISABLE HALF OF ITS FEATURES to listen to an external source...
(sigh) It's still super-fun synth though. I suppose I could just buy a mixer :)
Thanks again.
