The A-800 PRO Has Neither Of These Functions ...

And Failed Miserably ...

Then Decided To Set Up The FA 06 As An External Sound Source ...

And Failed Even More Miserably ...

I've Downloaded And Installed The Correct DRIVER For The FA 06 And The FA 06 Appeared In My Mac's AUDIO MIDI SETUP ...

I Then Fired Up REASON 11 ( My DAW Of Choice ) And Played Some Notes Into MIDI Channel 1 ...

REASON 11 Recognises And Is Responding To The FA 06 And I Was Able To Record And Playback Played Notes Into And Out Of The MIDI Channels Of REASON 11 ...

Great ! ...

I've Also Managed To Set The FA 06 Up As A SLAVE To The MIDI Clock Of REASON 11 ...

And When The FA 06 Is In ARPEGGIO Mode The FA 06s Arpeggiator Increases And Decreases Speed When I Increase / Decrease The BPM Setting In REASON 11 ...

When I Go From MIDI Channel To MIDI Channel On REASON ...

ie Selecting MIDI Channel 1 And Then 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 etc

All I Hear Is My VIRUS TI 2 Which Is Set Up To Transmit On MIDI Channel 1 And MIDI Channel 1 Alone ...

ie When I Select MIDI Channel 2 Which Is Set Up To Communicate With A Single MIDI Channel Of A WALDORF KYRA I Cannot Hear The KYRA At All ...

I Hear The VIRUS Exactly As It Was Heard On MIDI Channel 1 ...

This Is The Same On All MIDI Channels 1 Through To 16 In REASON ...

Why Is The FA 06 Unable To Differentiate Between The MIDI Channels ? ...

Why Is It Playing The VIRUS On All Channels And Not The VIRUS And All Of My Other External Equipment On Their Individual MIDI Channels ? ...

I Can't Make Sense Of It ...

What Am I Doing Wrong ? ...

The MIDI Clock From REASONs BPM Is Adjusting The Arpeggiator Speed Of The VIRUS Via The FA 06 ...

Superb! Sounds just what I need! Going to return my fantom 6 and grab an FA-06! What a downgrade! Lol
