Hi
A few observations....
I played my first gig last Saturday with my new JP50 after selling the JP80 due to weight issues with the keyboard plus I didn't like any of the organ rotary sounds and I have to say the JP50 was superb - all my sounds I had imported from the JP80 worked well.
I didn't miss the touch screen too much but I did miss not having the registrations available on the screen for me to choose from.
I didn't miss the 2nd live set as I now use my Nord Stage for organs and other sounds.
I didn't miss the buttons under the keybed - on the JP80 I always used the touchscreen and I didn't have any polyphony issues.
Weight wise, I loved the JP50 it was easy to carry around even in a flightcase
Finally, i think the audience loved the JP50 sounds.. on one song I played a trumpet solo and I swear I saw people looking around the stage for the trumpet player :)
