To make a long story short..
Bought a JP, sounds great,
Records MIDI into my daw, I can hear the JP while I am recording,
Try and play back the midi I've recorded....nothing
what I have tried:
-Logic proX, Midi sport 2x2, roland UM-ONe and M-audio uno (All tried at different times) JP upper and lower set to 1 and 2 respectively, external instrument on Logic software and Midi track : In JP-8000 (properly set in AMS) audio 1,2 to which the JP is wired. Create new midi instrument in environment, Wire to physical input.
While not my main DAWS, I have also tries Abelton and Reaper....nothing
I am out of answers and places to look on the internet....is my midi in port screwed, or id=s there something I am missing?
I love this board and don't want to send it back to guitar center, my MS-2000 and I will be all alone again
Thanks all

Have you tried to hook up only the MS-2000 and JP-8000 together to check MIDI.

Yep,
No go on that too,
Man....I'm really MISSING the JP....only had it for a couple days but I really dig it.
Only option I scan think of is to remove the cover and see if the solder points for the midi in are all good,
I usually screw things up the first time though, so I'm none to optimistic about doing it, adding Midi out to a volca is one thing, trying to do surgery on this is a whole other level.....
Any other ideas anyone? Or words of advice?
But as of now, the plan is......I'm going in
feel free to talk me out of it
