I have a broken key, and need to remove the top. I saw a couple youtube videos and have done this before on an Ensoniq. I removed all the outer screws (the inside ones are to keep the keybed attached), but there's something holding it down still. Looking inside from the edge didn't help.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Removing FA76 Fantom top
Re: Removing FA76 Fantom top
In case anybody's interested, my brother-in-law, who is more confident in messing with electronics helped me take this keyboard apart. Basically, that's what we did to get to the keys, took all the screws on the bottom off (while upside down), then several screws holding the keybed to the the top piece. Also removed a few screws holding the PC board to the keys, then the keys came out. Not fun, but doable.
