Hello everyone,
I just noticed on a few of the battery powered Roland keyboards (Juno Di, Juno Ds) the instructions say only to use Nickel Hydride or rechargable. They say specifically that Carbon-zinc and Alkaline batteries cannot be used.
Why is that? I have used alkaline with my Juno Di and I haven't noticed any problems?
Why No Alkaline Batteries?

Re: Why No Alkaline Batteries?
I understand now that NimH batteries are better for electronic devices that draw a lot of power (or amperage) such as cell phones, cameras, ipads, etc...
I believe alkaline batteries don't perform as well in these situations.
