Hi abani,

The simple fix: Menu>System>Sound>Patch Remain = ON.

The better, but more complex fix is here.

Cheers

A 'simple' (in some ways) version of Andy's complex fix can be found here but it requires that you add a Windows based Netbook (or possibly a tablet) to your live setup.

Hi Abani,

That's down to the difference between Patch & Performance mode, I'm afriad.

To do what you want in Performance mode you need to use RPS (the thread link I gave you earlier) or the Live Commander software linked to by Arjan.

Basically, you need to switch sounds within the Performance, rather than switch between saved Performances.

For example, say your Performance as saved is set like this:
Part 1 Piano ON
Part 2 Bass ON
Part 3 Strings OFF
Part 4 Choir OFF
Part 5 Synth Lead OFF

You would create RPS phrases to change these settings, so with one push of a pad you would change from the above to, say:
Part 1 Piano ON
Part 2 Bass OFF
Part 3 Strings ON
Part 4 Choir ON
Part 5 Synth Lead OFF

and so on...

Hope this helps.
Andy
