Sample replay questions

Hi Everyone.
Noob to my X6....
In performance mode, I have a 4 second sample set up to run on C1. The sample is set up as FWD LOOP. I need the key to act as a momentary switch ie run the entire sample with a short push of the key. I did check the FAQ which does mention how to pull this off but the 2nd step (adjust the decay to play the entire sample) doesn't seem to exist on my X6. No decay adjustments that I can find.

Another sample. again in performance mode and FWD LOOP, I need to loop continuously. I would like to use a pad to start the sample and a 2nd push of the pad to stop it.

Hoping someone has some ideas how to get these up and running.
