Saving Mulitiple User Soundsets

Post by onehand »

Hello All,
Been awhile, but getting back into my Fantom X again and have a minor issue.
I am trying to save a few different "Soundsets" onto memory card. That is, I work with a couple of tribute acts, as well as a couple of different bands. Each project requires a certain amount of preset sounds in Performance mode, and each project takes up most of the 64 User presets in the Performance mode. I know I could save each individual Performance preset as a song, but I need to be able to access quickly without having to 'load' a song. Also, the internal memory is pretty much full with sequences, as well as having about 1000 songs on the memory card, so it would take too long to search through all of the songs on the memory card to grab that particular sound. So my best situation would be to just be able to load the User Patches/Performances for each project at the beginning of the gig so they would be there handy for me. I read through the FAQ section about "Data Management and Exchange" section 6.4, however I don't quite understand the loading of the actual sounds back into the User section. Transferring back and forth between Card and User memory is okay, but getting the actual sounds into the Fantom I'm stuck at that point. Probably an easy answer, but I just can't figure it out. (Old age must be kicking in on me!) I can easily keep the 4 different User Performance Sets on the memory card and load them before each gig. I could also use the 64 Performances in the "Card" section of presets, but I still need to be able to access more sounds quickly than those on the Card or the User at one time. Geez, I hope this make sense!
