Odd Issues!! automatic pitch shift!! auto patch change!!

anybody know what up wit dis?

recently my G8 has begun to do a few things.

shortly after I start it up it might switch sounds, going backwards in the current patch list by one without me prompting it to do so in any way.

also I have a brite grand patch that I edited as the start up screen, so it's a user patch.
soon after starting up and playing you can hear the pitch shift automatically about an octave down.

tried a factory reset and then loaded current project but that has not resolved it.

anybody know about/experienced this and know what I can do to fix it??

Have you connected a wireless mouse by any chance?

If so I suspect this is the problem, disconnect it & see if the strange patch changing behaviour persists.
