Due to space limitations in my studio I’m thinking of giving up the V-Synth GT and get a V-Synth XT. I know that the GT pretty much is two XT at the same time (minus the D50 stuff which I don’t care that much about since I’ve got the D50 in Roland Cloud).
But the patches I’ve made, can those be transferred to the XT?
What do I need to prepare in order for a possible transition?
This might also lead to that I’m keeping the GT and have to complete move stuff around in the studio to manage the space problems.
I really love the synth and the engine. It’s heaven for someone who loves pads as much as I do :)
Is there anyone who has done this transition before? What were the pitfalls, the problems or was it smooth sailing and you haven’t looked back since?
The V-Synth (any model) is super hard to get hold of in Sweden so I won’t give mine up easily.
Thinking about swapping the GT for an XT

Re: Thinking about swapping the GT for an XT
Not interesting anymore. I’ll cling to my trusty GT and will move things around so it can stay :)
