Juno-G and Fantom-X have the same sound engine and effects, but according to the manual the waveforms in the ROM bank A are numbered differently. This means that there is no easy way to share patches between these models... We'll look deeper into it.

"but according to the manual the waveforms in the ROM bank A are numbered differently. " seems funny... if its the same waveforms, why would they do that? Seems silly, just to try to make fantomx users buy the jungo g for patches not on the fantomx series.... I was looking foward to getting those patches... sesshhh

I am not sure why they did that, but to me it makes some sense as they've put all synth waveforms in the beginning of the bank, including a bunch of classic Juno waves, so it kind of emphasizes that Juno-G is a new Juno with vintage sounds included. It will also be easier to program synth patches with it, as the most-used waves will be closer. However, indeed it breaks compatibility with Fantoms...

am i wrong or is it possible to transfer the patch, then change the root waves to the correct waveform. this is of course only if they share the same waveform...

just alittle work, but it could be done i suppose...

(this is in regards to getting what ever juno g patches are not on the fantom x, but use the same waveforms..)

I doubt anyone would put that much time into doing it though...

Artemio, would you tell me, where from can I download the Juno-G Patch/WaveformList? The e-manual doesn’t include one.
