I think you need to turn local off, then put the pads in midi send mode, then use the pad to select which midi channel the MPC is expecting to recieve (I think)

I find it fascinating that last time there was a countdown there was a big thread with everyone talking about what was coming. This time - nothing. I think it goes to show that peoples interest and faith in Roland is waning.

ok, set up your split with the sounds either side of the keyboard. Now press (i think) F3 then scroll down to 'Pitch' (or similar) here you can set the octave and transpose of each part of you split. I'm pretty sure it's f3 but it might be f4. I dont have my fantom in front of me so Im not sure.

As I understand it OS 2.0 for the Fantom X came AFTER the release of the G so there may still be some hope........

I fact, the only thing I dont absolutely love about the fantom g is the negativity that you find on this forum!

It may be that your project is corrupt, try holding down the 'EXIT' button while switching the G on. This will make the Fantom open the default project. If your problem is with the default project, download the latest fantom update (1.5) and follow the instructions to update the keyboard using a USB...
