Re: Summer namm 2014
Fair enough. As for my requirement, I play oriental(mainly Arabic, Armenian and little Turkish ) and occidental music. the issue is that it is very rare for manufacturers to provide sounds which can meet our needs, here I'm talking about so many types of instruments. Further, each of these instrume...

Re: Summer namm 2014
Parsifal first of all I don't understand why you are using bad language, it is not acceptable, you need to respect others, you have no right to attack others just because they have different opinions. I DO know that every thing is subjective, and I've repeatedly mentioned words (I think, I believe,...

Re: Summer namm 2014
@parsival You have to sadly admit that Korg arrangers sound better than the Roland Bk arrangers. As I said, each and every keyboard release from Roland after the G series was some kind of a blunder. So I don't need to admit anything, I've already stated some points Korg has in its favour. The fact ...

Re: Summer namm 2014
The GW line has practically been given up for the BK arranger line. However, the BK line came from the 'Roland Europe' development based in Italy, and Roland Europe is dissolved now. The BK-9 hasn't seen any updates since October 2013, and none of the announced sound expansions for the BK-9 have be...

Re: Digital vs. analog question
Nobody wants to respond specifically to my question (or doesn't know how to answer). I asked which bit depth resolution should A DIGITAL SYNTH have that, once you plug it into headphones / aux out etc. you cannot figure out it's digital or analog. IN REAL TIME. Not in any recording. I also want to d...

Digital vs. analog question
Which bit depth rate should be enough to ensure that the humar ear no longer notice any difference between digital and pure analog? I'm asking this because nowadays you can always hear or read the "ooh, the analog synths were so much better". I admit I never got an analog synth. Is it beca...

Re: SRX available end of month Feb
How about making them available to Fantom X Compact Flash card too? :D I've already got Session (3) but the other 3 slots are still empty. Maybe we can get a middle ground arrangement. ( = probably not for free but still available)

Then i 'll depart with my G7! Name it the Fantegra! I'm not parting with anything until they also add in the V! Vantegra? ;-) How about "V... yours!!!" with a German V (is pronounced "F") :P Or "Supercalifantomistic XP - all your dough" -scious. (check Julie Andrews fi...

Re: FA 06/08. Good News Everyone! (For us integra users)
I think this keyboard will remain in synth history as the one who killed the software synths. It's a master stroke from Roland. Also from a marketing point of view. It's not a Juno, so it's not an entry-level keyboard. It's not a Jupiter or a V-synth or a full-fledged Fantom, so it's not a top-level...

I have no idea what you're babbling about "total garbage", Fantom X is still used by many professionals. If you would have read my post instead of babbling off, you would read what I've said, which is this....... "Roland Fantom X has tons of great sounds but, all the sounds were thin...

Re: New Roland Synthesizer Workstation Coming at Namm 2014
Motif was never a killer board. It only had killer sales - meaning it had better marketing strategy, nothing to do with keyboard design. Not true. Motif XF is killer I own one and play it. All the sound are big and beefy, thick and wide, FX are the best quality in a keyboard business. Roland Fantom...

Re: New Roland Synthesizer Workstation Coming at Namm 2014
Motif was never a killer board. It only had killer sales - meaning it had better marketing strategy, nothing to do with keyboard design. To me - Motif was a step down from EX series which ressembled Kronos / Oasys a bit, because they all had multiple synth engines, which were dropped in favor of a b...

Re: New Roland Synthesizer Workstation Coming at Namm 2014
except I want it to be Roland's software Too bad - Roland situation won't allow it. Judging from their software "proficience", I say they sorely need more personnel and funds to the software department. Or merging with Eric Persing's company. However, during these times, I cannot foresee ...

Re: Recurring dream (aka "guess the synth")
Checked a few E-synth demos and sounded like crap :D 'You didn't really indicate if this was a pleasant dream or a nightmare. Well, it really doesn't matter but I guess it's neither. It completely lacks any nightmare characteristics and still doesn't contain much excitement... I barely get to press...

From what I know, it has a waterfall action (very organ-like).rolandvet wrote: Don't know if the PC3LE keyboard is semi-weighted, however. In the photo it looks more like a synth-action KB.
