On the board itself you can only restore a full backup. On computer, using the Librarian app, you can restore particular patches/performances from external libraries (along those patches are based on the waveforms you have installed on the board at that time).

Not easy questions, for sure. I agree with you; JunoDS is a blast for live playing and performances (combi) creation, but patch editing is not for everybody... not friendly AT ALL.
