Is it possible to modulate any drum parameters on the SPD-SX PRO? All I find in the manuals is the ability to assign a CC number for the master effect to transmit and receive. I'd like to be able to mod things like the pitch of individual kit pieces, filter cutoff, etc.

A tech at the vendor, Perfect Circuit, also reports failure of the external carrier function. I would think using a carrier of choice is a basic feature of a vocoder so that I hope this defect gets Roland's attention. If anyone finds a workaround, please post.

All the functions that I can access on my VT-4 work fine, except when I use an external carrier, the carrier constantly plays unmodulated regardless of microphone input.
