DS patches in a performance

Searched but no luck so here goes... If I create some of my own user patches and use them in a performance, what happens to the patches themselves in patch mode if I tweak & save the sounds within the performance? So in other words, if you tweak a patch within a performance, does it change the o...

Re: COVER soundpack Vol.1 free download

Hi guys, I created a cover soundpack for both FA and JUNO-DS series, featuring 25 modern songs and 25 old classics. The same patches are available for both keyboards. You can hear some samples in this video and you'll find a link below it to download the patches for free: https://www.youtube.com/wa...

Re: Juno-DS 61 Performance mode

In addition to the performance selection process, I'm also baffled as to why when selecting a performance, the name of the performance patch is in tiny characters but the tones that make up the performance are large? Is there a way to just have the name of the performance show up in the larger font ...

Re: DS Axial Collection pre-installed?

I purchased it in Canada from a large music chain, but the box was still factory sealed. That's why I thought it was strange to have a collection already installed on it. Not a big deal, just more curious than anything.
Thank you for responding.

JX-3P transpose question

Hi, This is probably a dumb question but what the heck... I play in a band that tunes down to Eb so that everyone is tuned down a semitone. On the JX-3P, if I tune to Eb using the transpose feature, the entire tuning actually goes way up and all my patches are really high pitched. On modern synths y...

Tom Sawyer sweep on Juno-G

Is there anyone here up to the challenge of creating a patch for the Juno-G that sounds really close to the sweep sound used by the band Rush in the song Tom Sawyer (right at the beinning if you want to hear it). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZVWj2gLh0E I tried but my synth programming talent is ...

Re: JV-80 patch restore to JV-90: please help

So I ended up just backuping up my JV-80 user patches to a Roland memory card, then inserted it into my JV-90 and copied each patch to the location I wanted one at a time. All good except for one particular patch that was missing a tone waveform that I did not have on the JV-90.

Re: New sample pack!

Just for my understanding, why is the compact flash card necessary?
I upgraded my Juno-G to 512MB RAM recently and I use the Juno-G Librarian and Editor apps on my computer. Is a flash card required?
If yes, what is the largest card/type that the Juno-G supports?
Thanks

JV-80 patch restore to JV-90: please help

Hoping you all can help me... I have a JV-80 with many of my own patches. I recently acquired a JV-90 and I don't want to manually recreate all the patches on the JV-90 (yes I'm lazy). :) I used Midi-Ox to perform a bulk dump of my JV-80 and was successful in creating the Sysex file. I then did the ...

Re: Loading SYSEX patch bank to JV90

Hi, I'm just browsing for a similar issue and found this older post. Sounds like you have everything configured properly. I was able to backup the JV-90 via bulk dump using Midi-OX which created a sysex file. I then changed the names of some of my user patches to see if restoring everything from my ...

Hi,
Is there a new link where the patches for Planet X and Planet F for the Juno-G can be previewed?
The link in this thread no longer works.
Thanks

Re: Store transpose function Juno-G

Sunny26 I think there is something you're not understanding. The transpose is in fact a global parameter. That's the all ideia. So if you transpose, say, to + 1 (+ 1 semi tone) all you play in the keyboard will be transposed +1. This value will be added to all "pitch" values you have set ...

Re: Official Juno-G replacements from Roland!

I had this repair done by Roland in Canada (Richmond Hill location) about 2 years ago I think. All good since having done it. My only question which they couldn't answer back then was if the new LCD was actually an improved version, or just a new part/same version. I assumed (as did they) that it wa...
