MIDI/USB controller with the same feel as the FA06?
I use my FA06 as a very basic MIDI controller. I turn the touch sensitivity to light and velocity to 127, and run a MIDI cable into my MOTU 828ES interface, then open my DAW and run a plugin synth. I don't use the sounds, sequencer, pads/sampler, sound modify, anything other than the keys themselves...

Re: FA editor/librarian software
Thanks. No trial version to make sure it works first? Sorry to sound like a cheapskate, but I'm unemployed, so I like to make sure I get a working product that I can understand.

Re: FA editor/librarian software
How do I get the FA editor on my late 2018 iPad? The hyperlink "Downloads, Full Version (with Drawbars and Part Volume)" can't be opened, and there is no app on AppStore.
Help, please?

Re: FA editor/librarian software
Last time I checked, no. Maybe if we all hassled Roland to develop an editor..?
Actually, I've just thought - assuming it was possible - some kind of USB to VGA/DVI adapter with a firmware update to make it behave like the VGA output on the Roland VS2480 would be really useful.

Re: Pitch bend disable/reassign
I put it in DAW CTRL mode, but using the pitchbend wheel still affects the pitch. I don't know if it matters, but I am using MOTU Digital Performer, not Sonar, Logic or anything else the FA06 has on its DAW list.

Re: Pitch bend disable/reassign
I tried as you suggested, but it doesn't prevent pitch bending of any note played. I am trying to use the pitch bend wheel on the FA06 to modulate parameters on a soft synth. The pitch bend wheel on the FA06, if pushed forward, is recognised by the soft synth as MIDI CC#1. What I wanted to do is tur...

Pitch bend disable/reassign
I want to use the pitch bend fork (if that's what the lever on the left of the FA-06 is called) to send MIDI data, but NOT bend the pitch. Is there an easy way to do this?

Re: FA-06/08 USB driver for Mac OS X Sierra 10.12
Well, I took the plunge today (I had nothing else planned today), and Sierra does not see the FA-06. It sees the driver for 10.11, but that's it. System Preferences kept crashing every time I tried to access it, until I rebooted the Mac yet again. I'm glad I kept that USB/MIDI cable. Hurry up with t...

Re: FA-06/08 USB driver for Mac OS X Sierra 10.12
I'm using MOTU AudioDesk 4.0 (free version of Digital Performer 9) as a DAW, and the FA-06 serves as a controller for a soft synth UVI Falcon. Anyone using an FA-06/08 with UVI Falcon or MOTU MachFive 3 and AD4 or DP9?

Re: FA-06/08 USB driver for Mac OS X Sierra 10.12
Roland say they plan to release a new driver in about a month.

FA-06/08 USB driver for Mac OS X Sierra 10.12
Has anyone upgraded to OS X 10.12 Sierra and use an FA-06/08? Does it work without a USB driver upgrade?

Re: audio dropouts with Studio Capture
I don't use any of the above, except a MacBook Pro. Its only got a 2.7ghz dual core processor and 8GB RAM. I have to set my soft synth's buffer to 512 samples. Any less, and I will get pops/clicks/distortion. I am curious as to how much RAM and what kind of processor you have in your macs. If I want...

Re: System Update Version 1.03
Yeah, there's a 1.04 update that says "... Damn not given", then gives the same message every time you boot up ;-)
I only updated because my FA06 kept crashing when loading a studio set.

Re: System Update Version 1.03
I just learned a lesson - format the USB stick in MS DOS FAT, not ExFat.
