Re: Do we need a new workstation or Firmware 2.0
No more Roland keyboard for me. My next workstation will be motif XS or XF. I love their patch way more. It's a lot warmer and full. Roland patch somehow sounds mediocre. It doesn't hurt to make more roland patch though. What I really like about the roland is the built in effects. They sound pretty ...

The sound of the G
I have imported a whole bunch of drum samples into the G and lay them down via midi inside the fantom daw and then resampling them into wav and mastered the track inside Adobe audition and hear it back, i was shock at how definitive it sound. Great result. However, if i were to use the same drum sam...

Re: Drum Samples
Thanks, i think got it working now. Choose a initial rhythm part and use the wave group type feature and set that to sample and do that for every number of sample and map it across the keys.parker.bobby wrote:Use a RHYTHM part. Not a 'patch' part or 'sample part'.. use RHYTHM part for drums.

Re: Drum Samples
I have also try sample mapper across the keys. For each sample I can play them in different tone across the keys. I don't know if this is a great way to do. Are there better ways out there that you can play and make record more accessible? These process can take a long time though, especially if you...

I did try assigning the keys to a initial sample set, but i was only able to assigned 16 keys. Well that su...

Is there a shorter way to save project file so that they're all store in one place in the usb thumb drive? I notice that the internal memory only contains the OS sounds of the Fantom, but i have so many other projects with additional pianos and sounds that I want it to use together with the internal...

Re: Which USB drives/ 1GB RAM DIMMs work with the Fantom G?
I think I figured it out!!! My Patriot, for some reason, had TWO partitions--a 200MB partition, and a partition taking up the remaining free space. I re-partitioned it in Mac's Disk Utility as ONE partition, formatted it there as well as FAT, and then took it to be formatted in the Fantom....and it...

Re: Which USB drives/ 1GB RAM DIMMs work with the Fantom G?
I've bought an Imation 8GB and it works very well! The Fantom recognizes 7,7GB. This is the drive I'm talking about: http://www.ubergizmo.com/photos/2008/8/imation-8gb.jpg Notice that the black part of the drive goes into the USB drive, so you only see the silver part out of your Fantom. That usb i...
